The main Russian and CIS pulp and paper exhibition started today!
8th of November the 11th International Exhibition and State-of-the-Art Conference for all of Russia and CIS’ Pulp & Paper, Forestry, Tissue, Converting and Packaging Industries “PAP-FOR Russia 2010” opened in Lenexpo (Saint Petersburg).
The exhibition composition this year consists of 238 companies from 22 countries worldwide. Among the exponents of this year there are such major Russian companies as ILIM Group, Mondi group, Consolidated Paper mills, SFT group, first time exhibiting GAZPROM, which will demonstrate its innovations in developing of chemical materials in pulp and paper production. Also there is a list of known foreign brands like Andritz, Kemira, Metso, Voith, GL&V, Siemens etc. At PAP-FOR Russia 2010 there are presented National pavilions of Finland and China and first time in the history of PAP-FOR there is a Brazilian pavilion. The distinctive feature of this year exhibition which makes it unrivalled among any others is the participation on it of 20 Russian pulp and paper mills.
State-of-the-Art Conference organized by Paper Engineers Association (Finland) and VNIIB (Russia) and Individual Company Seminar Program is held in the frames of PAP FOR exhibition. The theme of the Conference for this year is “Pulp&Paper Industry: current state and prospects”. The participants of the Conference will have chance to get an expert opinion of industry professionals on the most actual questions and choose an optimal solution for their business.
Traditionally the event is supported by the following bodies: the Russian Federal Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Department of Forestry and Light Industry, RAO Bumprom, Natural Resources and Environment Protection Committee, Leningrad Region, Confederation of Forestry Industrial Entrepreneurs of North-West Region, Paper Engineers´Association (Finland), VNIIB – All Russian Scientific Research Institute of Pulp & Paper, St.Petersburg Forestry Academy, St.Petersburg Technological University of Plant Polymers and “Pulp. Paper. Board” Magazine.
